چکیده
The routing mechanisms in flying ad-hoc networks (FANETs) using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been a challenging issue for many reasons, such as its high speed and different directions of use. In FANETs, the protocols send hello messages periodically maintenance routes. However, that are sent network increase bandwidth wastage on some occasions excessive number can also cause problem energy loss. Scarce works deal with dynamic UAVs scenarios, treat several other problems, simultaneously. Generally, existing solutions configure interval to an long or short time period originating delay neighbors discovery. Thus, self-acting approach is necessary calculating exact aim reduce loss; this needs be low complex terms computational resource consumption. order solve problem, intelligent Hello dissemination model, AI-Hello, based reinforcement learning algorithms, adapts message scheme proposed produce dense reward structure, facilitating learning. Experimental results, considering FANET scenarios range 40 UAVs, show method implemented two widely adopted (AODV OLSR) saved 30.86% 27.57% consumption comparison original AODV OLSR protocols, respectively. Furthermore, our proposal reached better performance results relation state-of-the-art methods same parameters, overhead, packet delivery ratio, throughput delay.

FANET Communication Protocols: A Survey
Since last few years the evolution of UAV have helped in finding many new applications and one of the latest trend is using multiple UAV's in place of single UAV. FANET is an ad-hoc network established between UAV's to overcome problems in infrastructure based network. FANET is different from other ad-hoc networks in many ways so it should be handled differently. The main problem with FANET is ...
متن کاملAdaptive Scheme for suppressing unnecessary Hello messages used for Neighbor Discovery in MANET routing protocols
Mobile ad-hoc networks are widely used these days as in smart phones but energy efficiency is a major issue when discovering neighbor nodes to maintain connectivity as periodically exchanging hello messages are used for it. Overhead goes high due to neighbor discovery messages in the MANET routing protocols, such as in AODV, DYMO. In an attempt to enhance the scheme, this paper proposes a new a...
متن کاملDynamic Hello/Timeout timer adjustment in routing protocols for reducing overhead in MANETs
With the recent advancement and extensive spread of mobile devices, establishing a network with those devices has become more important than ever before. MANETs (Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks) have become a promising solution to set up a network with any mobile device. Routing in MANET is still a difficult task since the mobility of the nodes affects the local connections and makes the network topolog...
متن کاملA Novel Comprehensive Taxonomy of Intelligent-Based Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks
Routing in ad-hoc networks, specifically intelligent-based ones, is a highly interested research topic in recent years. Most of them are simulation-based study. Large percentages have not even mentioned some of the fundamental parameters. This strictly reduces their validity and reliability. On the other hand, there is not a comprehensive framework to classify routing algorithms in wireless sen...
